**About the Role:**
The Chief Staff Trainee is a key position
within the Executive Office, designed to groom future leaders for the
organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to
high-level decision-making processes, cross-functional collaboration, and
strategic initiatives. The trainee will work closely with the CEO and other
senior executives, supporting a wide range of activities that drive strategic
alignment, operational excellence and organizational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Support and Project
Management**
-Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives,
providing research, analysis, and project management support.
-Support the coordination of cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and objectives.
-Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for senior management
and executive meetings.
2. **Executive Support**
-Provide administrative and logistical support to the CEO, including calendar
management, meeting organization, etc.
-Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders,
facilitating communication and information flow.
3. **Policy and Process Development**
-Assist in the review and development of organizational policies, procedures,
and guidelines.
-Support process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and
recommending solutions.
4. **Data Analysis and Reporting**
-Gather and analyze data to support decision-making, providing insights and
recommendations based on findings.
-Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators(KPIs) and project progress.
5. **Stakeholder Engagement**
-Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and challenges,and facilitate the development of solutions.
-Support the organization of internal and external events, including conferences, workshops, and executive retreats.
6. **Special Projects and Ad-Hoc Tasks**
-Support special projects as assigned by the Chief Staff Officer or senior
management.
-Handle ad-hoc requests and assignments, demonstrating flexibility and
adaptability.
**Qualifications:**
1. **Education**
-Master or PhD in Biotechnology and related field.
2. **Experience**
-0-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate or
public sector environment.
-Internship or trainee experience in a similar role is a plus.
3. **Skills and Competencies**
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize
complex information and present clear, actionable insights.
-Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
-Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with senior executives and stakeholders.
