Key Responsibilities 1. Reception Duties ? Welcome and assist parents, visitors, and staff in a professional manner. ? Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and effectively. ? Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring it reflects the values of Harrow Haikou. 2. Parent Communication ? Serve as the primary contact point for parents during the workinghours. ? Communicate pick-up arrangements and updates efficiently. ? Address concerns and relay information to relevant staff when necessary. 3. Student Support ? Supervise and support students whose parents are delayed at pick-up time. ? Provide a calm and reassuring presence to ensure students feel secure while waiting. ? Ensure accurate records of late pick-ups and liaise with the appropriate staff or parents as needed. 4. Safety and Security ? Oversee the safe departure of students after enrichment activities. ? Ensure students are accounted for and appropriately supervised until they leave school premises. ? Follow safeguarding and school policies to maintain a secure environment. 5. Administrative Support ? Assist the Administration team with clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document preparation. ? Help coordinate and communicate arrangements for evening events or activities. ? Be responsible for translation work. ? Provide ad hoc administrative support as directed by the Reception Line Manager. 6. Collaboration ? Work closely with teachers, enrichment staff, and the administration team to ensure a smooth end-of-day process. ? Report concerns, incidents, or feedback to the Reception Line Manager promptly.
