Position Requirements:

? Bilingual (English, Chinese) with enough English proficiency to teach primarily in English.

? Undergraduate degree in math.

? Graduate degree in math or education (preferred, but not required).

? Studied overseas and/or worked overseas (preferred, but not required).

? Passion and enthusiasm for teaching;

? Strong recommendations from previous supervisors.

Job Description

? Understand and/or be open to learning about applying the philosophy and practice of backwards design and differentiated instruction.

? Work as a departmental and teaching team player to receive and apply constructive feedback on curriculum and lessons.

? Lead one afterschool club, two times per week;

? Be able to teach the following courses: Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus or Biology, Earth Science, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science
