Main Tasks:

- Laboratory management
o Direct the daily workflow and sample load through the laboratory, optimizing the current staffing and instrumental resources to meet production demand.
o Develop control plan and manual for all products according to TS/IATF 16969 and customer requirement.
o Setup lab management system on methodology, asset and consumables.
o Lead EHS activities related to lab operations.
o Responsible for the continuous optimizations in terms of cost and efficiency in lab.
o Develop and implement development plan for chemist and lab engineer/ technician to support career development and to achieve a high level of performance.
- Quality Management System of ISO9001/TS16949
o Maintain and develop the plant quality system to meet the customer expectations and ISO/TS16949 requirements.
o Directly responsible for plant DCC (document control center) for the creation, modification, coordination of review and approval for Plant Quality Manuals, Quality procedures, working instructions, standard forms and records.
o Leading the quality related internal audits and coordinate the external audits; follow up audit findings for root cause investigation and corrective & preventive actions implementation.
o Maintain a monthly communication system for quality including monthly reports and the posting of quality metrics. Lead the management of changes related to product quality: quality risk assessment, actions follow-up, customer notification and change implementation.
o Responsible for the monitor of product performance to identify the potential non-conforming; lead the plant to investigate the root cause and develop the corrective and preventive actions to avoid non-conforming. As the member of FMEA core team, collaborate with regional QM and site QM to develop and maintain the PFMEA and control plan.
o Lead and drive the crater prevention according to EC global standards in the plant.
o Develop and implement development plan for QM engineer to support career development and to achieve a high level of performance.
- Customer complaint handling and Non-conforming management
o Handle the Customer complaint and NCM on plant level together with BACH central QM. Identify the root cause, define corrective and preventive actions and verify the effectiveness. Lead the material review board for the decision of non-conforming material treatment and follow up the decision. Advanced expertise in SAP modules: NCM maintenance in SAP system
- Product Recipe and Product Adjustment
o Lead chemist and support product owner to provide instructions to production team in terms of raw material, in-process and finished goods adjustment.
o Alert plant management and initiate analysis in case of deviation and non-conformity.
- Regional Quality Management
o Establish EC global and regional guidelines, processes, procedure and tools in accordance to Global EC and IATF 16949 Quality Management System requirement for EC resins plants in Asia Pacific.
o Benchmark Quality cost of regional resin plants in comparison with other assets globally, and continuously monitor its development. Establish and lead systematic improvement measures through detailed data analysis to continuously reduce EC quality cost in resin plans.
o Single Point of Contact representing EC resin plants across Asia Pacific with counterparts in Europe and North America global resin QM community to ensure prompt and efficient transfer of new global QM requirements towards all resin plants in Asia Pacific. Plan and execute new global QM projects in the region.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor and above
- Working Experience: min.5 years quality related working experience, > 3 years in chemical industry
- Technical & Professional Knowledge:
o Fluent in both Chinese and English
o Working knowledge on diverse lab methods
o Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 system
o Familiar with APQP, FMEA&CP, MSA, SPC
